Sunday Edition Offers Free MP3 Download of Current Single

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Sunday Edition, one of Nashville's favorite groups, is currently giving away digital downloads of the group's current single, "Big God." Fans and Southern Gospel listeners can have immediate access to the MP3 on the group's webpage.

"We love this song and the message that it speaks to people," mentioned Deon Unthank of Sunday Edition. "People are loving this song, and we wanted to make it available to anyone that wanted it."

"Big God" was written by group member Amy Marie Unthank, co-writer of the #1 song of the year for 2004 - "Even In the Valley" (The Whisnants). "Big God" is the second single from the group's current release Absolutely Free.

The song is currently being pushed to radio through the Rick Hendrix Company, DJ Man Promotions, and Rhonda Thompson Promotions.

Rick Hendrix of the Rick Hendrix Company said, "This song has been getting a really strong reaction so far from radio. This will end up being a very big hit for the group."

"Big God" can be found on the Rick Hendrix Company Compilation Volume 47, cut #11 and the DJ Man Hit Singles Volume 23, cut #7. The song will also be available on the upcoming Rhonda Thompson Promotions compilation disc.

The song was also recently voted as one of the Top 5 Fan Favorite singles this week on the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart along with current singles from popular artists like HisSong, Gold City, CrossWay, and the Rick Webb Trio.

"Big God" is the follow-up to "Call On Jesus", which peaked at #21 on the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart, #56 on the Singing News Top 80, and #74 on the Christian Voice Magazine Top 100. The song became the group's third consecutive charting single.

Sunday Edition Reaches Booking Agreement with Jackson Management Agency

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Sunday Edition, one of Nashville’s favorite groups, recently reached an exclusive booking agreement with Jackson Management Agency.

Jackson Management Agency was established by Kyle and Tara Jackson in order to assist the independent Christian artist in establishing a successful music ministry. In addition to booking, the company works in management and publicity for the independent and new artist. In addition to Sunday Edition, the company currently has under contract independent artists in all genres of Gospel music including Encounter, Jeremy Vess, Tara Jackson, Mike Rayson, and more.

“There are instances in every artist’s career where they have an instant connection with a company,” said Chris Unthank of Sunday Edition. “We had that immediate connection with JMA. They believe in the same things that our ministry strives for, and more importantly, they believe in us as an artist and ministry team. We know that this relationship is one that God had his hand on from the very beginning.”

Sunday Edition Performs for NASCAR Fans

Sunday Edition, one of Nashville’s favorite groups, recently performed for fans of NASCAR this past weekend in Bristol, Tennessee.

During the fall NASCAR race, Sunday Edition performed a Saturday afternoon concert for fans of the event at the only non-alcoholic campground in Bristol, Tennessee – Peaceful Valley Campground. The trio also performed at a special chapel service held for campers on Sunday morning.

Sunday Edition Sends Out New Single & Working on New Album

Sunday Edition, one of Nashville?s favorite groups, was currently in the studio recording vocals for their new single, ?He Keeps Lifting,? the follow-up to the group?s first ever charting song, ?This Well.? The new single will feature special guest Johnny Minick, who also wrote the song.

The single will be included on a new six song EP (extended play single) that the group is currently recording. Entitled Intermission, the new EP will feature songs written by group members Amy Marie Unthank & Chris Unthank, as well as concert favorites from the group. Intermission will be produced by Donna Beauvais and Aaron Minick, and it has a tentative release date for the late winter quarter.

SSE Artists to Participate in Leaders of Tomorrow showcase at NQC

Several artists represented by one of Southern Gospel?s leading publicity firms, Southern Spin Entertainment, will be performing during the Leaders of Tomorrow showcase at the National Quartet Convention on September 17, 2005 on the main stage of Freedom Hall.

The Leaders of Tomorrow showcase is meant to feature prominent artists under the age of 30 in the Southern Gospel field, and it will also feature a 100 voice choir backing up the performers. The showcase will include new combinations of groups, as well as step-out soloists featured on favorite songs of the past. Two brand new songs will also be performed written especially for the next generation of Southern Gospel leaders.
